Muktinath is a sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley (behind the Great Himalayan) at an altitude of 3,800 meters, on the way Annapurna Trekking route, Mustang, Nepal. Mukti Kshetra (51 shakti pitham )which literally means the "place of liberation or moksha" or where the temple of Muktinath is situated, is mentioned in the Hindu Scriptures such as the Ramayana, Barah Purana, and Skanda Purana.

Day wise Itinerary Kathmandu Pokhara Lumbini & Chitwan Tour 8 Day 7 Night Ex Gorakhpur

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN GORAKHPUR & TRANSFER TO SUNAULI Pick up from Gorakhpur (Railway station or Airport) & transfer to Sunauli (about 115 Km, 2/3 hrs). Overnight stay at Sunauli hotel.

DAY 02: SULAULI – CHITWAN VIA LUMBINI After breakfast, drive to Chitwan (about 107 km, 3/4 hrs). En-route visit Lumbini (Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Monastries etc.). Continue drive to Chitwan. Arrive in Chitwan. Later, visit Tharu Village. Evening, enjoy sunset and Tharu Stick Dance. Dinner and overnight is at hotel in Chitwan.

DAY 03: CHITWAN - POKHARA After breakfast, finish rest of the activities (1N2D Package) and drive to Pokhara (about 147 km, 5/6 hrs). Overnight in Pokhara Hotel.

DAY 04: POKHARA Early morning drive to Sarangkot hill staion (about 11 Km, 30 mins.) for sunrise and Himalayan view (subject to weather condition). Next, visit Bindabasini Temple. Drive to Hotel for breakfast. Later, visit Devis fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti River, Taal Barahi Temple and boat ride on Phewa Lake. Rest of the day is free. Overnight in Pokhara Hotel.

DAY 05: POKHARA – KATHMANDU After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu (about 210 km, 6/7 hrs drive). En-route visit Manakamana Devi Temple (optional). Continue drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.

DAY 06: KATHMANDU - SIGHTSEEING After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa. Later, visit Jalanarayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu). Drive back to Hotel. Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 07: KATHMANDU - SUNAULI After breakfast at hotel drive to Sunauli (about 265 Km, 7/8 hrs). Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Sunauli hotel.

DAY 08: Departure Drop to Gorakhpur Railway station/Airport
