Muktinath is a sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley (behind the Great Himalayan) at an altitude of 3,800 meters, on the way Annapurna Trekking route, Mustang, Nepal. Mukti Kshetra (51 shakti pitham ) which literally means the "place of liberation or moksha" or where the temple of Muktinath is situated, is mentioned in the Hindu Scriptures such as the Ramayana, Barah Purana, and Skanda Purana.
Day wise Itinerary Kathmandu and Nagarkot Tours 3 Night 4 Day
DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted and assistance by our representative. After completing your custom formalities, transfer to Hotel for check-in. Late afternoon, visit Boudhanath Stupa & in the evening, attend Aarati at Pashupatinath Temple. Drive back to Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU After breakfast, visit Jalanarayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu in the water). Later, you will be visiting Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) and Patan Durbar Square and Krishna Temple. Drive back to Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU – NAGARKOT Breakfast is at Hotel. Proceed to visit Kailashnath Mahadev Temple (World’s Tallest Shiva Statue) in Saga. Next, you will be visiting Doleshwor Mahadev Temple (Head of Kedarnath) and later, drive to Nagarkot. En-route, you can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Nagarkot is 32 km, 1 hr drive from Kathmandu. Arrive and check in the hotel. Evening, sunset and Himalayan view (subject to weather condition). Overnight in Nagarkot Hotel.
DAY 04: NAGARKOT – DEPARTURE: - Enjoy sunrise in the early morning (subject to weather condition). After breakfast, free till departure. Later, transfer to International Airport for your next destination.
