Day wise Itinerary Char Dham Tour Ex Haridwar by Kedarnath trek Shri Badrinath Shri Kedarnath Gangotri & Yamunotri - 9 Nights/ 10 Days
Day 1- Dehradun – Barkot (180 Kms/ approx. 6 -7 Hrs) Upon arrival at Dehradun, our driver will pick you from station or airport and drive to Barkot. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 2- Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot - (36 Kms drive & 6 Kms Trek one way) Early morning after breakfast, drive to Janki chatti. Janti chatti is the starting point for trek route towards Yamunotri i.e. 6 Kms one way [you have option either walk or hire Pony or by Doli at your own cost]. Upon arrival at Yamunotri, taking a Holy bath in Surya Kund (Hot spring) and visit Yamunotri temple "Darshan" and Pooja of pious "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila. Later return to Janki Chatti and then further drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay at Barkot. The deity or Goddess Yamuna is made of black marble. The temple is dedicated to the river Yamuna, who is represented in the form of a silver idol, bedecked with garlands. About 3,293 metres above the sea level, Yamunotri stands proudly with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers and gushing waters of Yamuna. River Yamuna, the second most sacred river of India, originates in Yamunotri, making it one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.
Day 3- Barkot- Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ approx. 4 Hrs) This morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free. Later visit Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4- Uttarkashi - Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Kms/ approx. 3 Hrs one way) After breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri excursion tour. En-route enjoy picturesque Harsil valley, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Upon arrival at Gangotri visit Gangotri Mata Temple and perform pooja. Thereafter we drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Gangotri - As per The Hindu mythology, Goddess Ganga - the daughter of Lord Brahma showed herself as a waterway to acquit the transgressions of King Bhagirath's forerunners, taking after his extreme retribution of a few centuries, and Lord Shiva got her into his tangled locks to minimize the gigantic effect of her fall. She came to be called Bhagirathi at her incredible source. Along the right back of Bhagirathi stands the sanctum of Gangotri devoted to the Goddess. Roosted at a stature of 3042 meters (10,000 ft), it was developed in the mid-18th century by a Gorkha Commander, Amar Singh Thapa.
Day 5: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (220 Kms/approx. 9 Hrs) After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival at Guptkashi check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free at hotel. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
Day 6- Guptkashi- Kedarnath [By Trek] Early morning you will drive till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to take local jeep/ Max to reach Gaurikund (3 Kms, on direct payment basis, approx. INR 100 per person). Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards Kedarnath Temple, which is long and beautiful man made trail. After reaching, performing Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Later check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stand at the head of the Mandakini River. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is said that devotees who die here become one with Shiva himself.
Day 7- Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi (20kms/8-9hrs) Early morning, check-out from at hotel. Later trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival in Gaurikund from here you need to take local jeep/ Max to reach Sonprayag (3 kms, on direct payment basis, approx 100 per person). Later drive to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel. An overnight stay.
Day 8- Guptkashi- Badrinath (185 Kms/ approx. 6-7 Hrs) After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath. Upon arrival at Badrinath, check-in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Evening visit at Shri Badrinath Temple Aarti [If time permits]

Day 9- Badrinath- Rudraprayag (160 Kms /approx. 6 Hrs) Morning after bath in the Taptkund visit to Shri Badrinath Temple, Brahma Kamal is significant for Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitru). There is other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Moorti Temple, Bhim Kund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River.
Just within the three Kms of Badrinath Ji. After sightseeing tour drive towards Rudraprayag. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 10- Rudraprayag– Haridwar (165 Kms /approx. 6 Hrs) After breakfast, check-out and drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival we will drop you at Haridwar.
