Madurai is famous as the temple city and is almost synonymous with the famed Meenakshi Temple. Located on the banks of River Vaigai, Madurai is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu.Temple dedicated to Goddess Shakti or Meenakshi.It is one of the important centers of Hindu pilgrimage. The Meenakshi temple exemplifies the Dravidian architecture with gopurams (large gateways) and mandapams (multi-pillared halls) covered from top to bottom in an abundance of multi-coloured images of gods, goddesses, animals and mythical figures. Rameshwaram is one of the Jyotirlinga Temple in India.
Day 1- Arrive in Madurai transfer from Madurai Airport / Madurai Railway Station to Hotel, visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, Madurai Meenakshi Temple Night halt in Madurai
Day 2 - , Tiruparankundram one of the six abode of Lord Subramanya, Pazamudir Solai one of the six abode of Lord Subramanya and then visit Alagar Koli temple of Lord Vishnu , Koodal Azhagar Temple , - Night halt in Madurai
Day 3 -Early morning departure to Rameswaram (160 kms - 3 hours)., Rameswaram temple, proceed for dip in various Holy Theerthams (22 ponds or well) asll located in the Temple complex, visit Agnitheertaham, Danushkodi, Five Faced Hanuman Temple, Ram Sethu Bridge, overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 4 – Morning proceed to Madurai, can go for shopping and visit temple missed on day one drop at Station / Airport
